Happy Friday Luv,

According to experts, it takes roughly 21 days to form a habit. Some of the business habits listed below may not work for you, but once you’ve established them, they’ll become second nature, and you’ll discover that you have more free time.

Creating good business habits is essential to running a business that is organized and efficient.

1. MAKE A PLAN AND TAKE ACTION
Don’t make the mistake of taking things day by day. Instead, make a plan and stick to it. When you simply write out your to-do list for the day, you get stuck thinking small-picture. In other words, you only accomplish the things that needs to get done for your business to survive, not thrive!

2. DEVELOP SYSTEMS
I know it can sometimes be very hard to find time to take a good look at your business systems. But, it really is important to re-evaluate your systems occasionally to see what can be changed. Just asking yourself some basic questions will give you some insight into what parts of your process you may be struggling with.

3. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING HAS A PLACE
Do you have items in your office or around the house that don’t really have a “home?”
You know what I’m talking about, right? You don’t quite know where to put these things, so instead, they float from one space to another and never feel “put away.”
If you can identify a few items that fit this description, then it’s time to create an official space for that item. Because when you do, you’ll find it is so much easier to tidy up and put things away. What’s more, you’ll know exactly where to look the next time you need it!

Let’s take a look at the benefits of keeping organized:

– Increased efficiency
When you know where things are, work becomes more manageable and efficient. The less time spent searching, the better!

– Less stress and overwhelm
It’s overwhelming when you feel swamped under a stack of papers or you can’t even see your computer background. The better you organize your workspace, the less stressed you will begin to feel!

– More job enjoyment
I don’t know about you, but when my workspace is neat and tidy, I seem to enjoy my work more! There’s something motivating about having a space that you’re proud of – keep it that way!

Developing these easy business practices will drastically improve your day-to-day operations, making work a breeze.

Have a fabulous weekend!
